Where I'm From

Where I'm From

Early morning
remains of the last drizzle
sparkle in reflection of the sun,
an everlasting green field sprout beneath me

I'm from the country side,
where farms are just a fence over,
where neighbors become best friends
and where freedom is most valuable

I'd catch every movement of nature
watch the clouds move,
step on my shadows,
then go back in as the sun waves good bye

Where I'm from,
is a place flourishing with colours
iscolated from the world,
but where my memories lie.

  1. I love how peaceful this sounds! Well done at creating imagery.
